Very good post!

Oddly this is will not be probably a science fiction anymore, sooner or later. In the recent Amazon's re:MARS conference in Las Vegas, it was announced that Alexa is working a new feature where the virtual assistant Alexa can read aloud in a departed loved one's voice, by using previous short recordings of the deceased person. That will create at least the illusion or the pareidolia to supposedly support people in grieving. This sounds creepy and bizarre, but anyway, how much of such weird things appear everyday particularly in the social networks. And who knows, at least psychologically speaking, that could possibly work for more than one people.

Hi Ricardo! Yes, I heard the news on Alexa. I think combining virtual assistants with LLMs is where it gets crazy. The voice of someone you know with their mannerisms and wording. As you say, a strong illusion. How it would affect us? I don't know. We're walking in uncharted territory here.
