Which dictionary are you using. It matters. Only some define it using perjorative terms such as "exagerated" or "contrived". Cambridge and Collins basically define it as advertising and, as such, I can claim to be immune to AI hype whilst also believing much of what is claimed in that hype. You actually seem to be listing traits that make people less suseptible to being swayed by advertising. I don't think you are saying anything useful about beliefs about the future of AI.
