Yeah, that's what Grammarly does. I use it just for grammar though, I don't care about the more advanced suggestions. But I guess there's a big difference between proofreading and writing the thing itself!
I agree. I do the same. Especially for someone like me, who is not a native English speaker, it can be convenient sometimes. But, I hate most of the other suggestions because it take completely away almost any individual aspect of the text.

I think it's a mix. That's one factor for sure. My shift to focus on news is another. I'll rethink about what I can do better!
