“Slop cannons” and “turbo brains” are two of the best new AI concepts I’ve learned recently. I’ve written about both in some way or another, but never coined a name, so I’m borrowing them from Dan Hockenmaier. You can see what they mean in this 2x2 matrix. How can you ensure you become a turbo brain rather than a slop cannon? The answer is deceptively simple, but you may not like it.
