The holidays are over. Hope you enjoyed them as I did!
This is the second time in a row that I’ve skipped my weekly top picks. Not that many things are happening these days for obvious reasons except *checks notes* that the most popular news outlet has decided to sue the most popular AI startup.
The NYT really couldn’t wait for Christmas to be over, right?
Anyway, that’s a topic for my Wednesday article (not that you haven’t read about that already, but I modestly believe the perspective I’m about to offer is worth skimming at least).
Today I bring you something else: a New Year Gift that’s… rather unoriginal because it’s the same gift I gave you last year for Christmas.
That sounds long ago but it was last week.
But it’s not exactly the same. Instead of just a discount offer for TAB (which is better than a lump of coal, but still), I’ve repackaged the present with a wrapper adequate for the occasion. What was a bland yearly subscription is now —
An official certificate of your commitment to learning about AI and its effects on society and people in the form of a New Year Resolution for 2024.
Well, I might be biased but I wouldn’t say no to that.
For those of you who missed Santa’s visit on December 25th, know that I’ve extended the deadline for you to come get your personal and nontransferable certificate until January 7th:
See you Wednesday onwards with the usual schedule and some improvements that I will announce in time.
